I have a couple extra 24" monitors for portable use and at first I wanted like a kickstand mount, this turned out to be the closest thing I could find. Rather than having the monitor sit on the flat base I have it propped up. But I have another one at a normal monitor height to use for my Nintendo switch. It's a little heavier than I'd like but it does the job!. I got rid of the plastic piece on the back.

Very sturdy for my 27 inch monitor. Took me forever to find this thing because whatever I typed in kept pulling up either regular computer stands, tv mounts and stands or tablet stands. Tablet stands are too small for this. This screwed right in the back and fit perfectly. I was actually searching for a tracing box for drawing that u could upload the reference photo on to. Couldn't find one. So I thought of buying a flat screen that I could attach to a stand that could go flat instead of upright. This was perfect .

I love that this monitor stand folds completely flat. It allows we to use it for digital signage, and I can fold up my 15.6" LCD with ease and slip it into my backpack without issues! I did have to adjust the tension on the foot hinge to be a bit less stiff, but after that, it's been great, and almost a year after purchasing it, it's still an amazing little LCD screen stand. For only $40, I highly recommend it.!

Exactly what I needed to fit a monitor in a really tight space. I have a built in kitchen computer desk that has a drawer/shelf unit over it, so a monitor will need to almost sit directly on the desk with no elevation. This stand allows me to do that with a 20” lcd monitor.

First, a couple of review that rate this product low point to weak materials. Nothing is farther from the truth. This stand is every bit as sturdy as the original stand that comes with the screen. The positioning mechanism is very firm, that is true. Second, If you are constantly changing screen position then this product may not be for you. But on my mobile stand up desk it holds the computer screens firmly and reliably.
